The Great Imagining Cannock Chase - REIMAGINING BUSINESS WITH DOUGHNUT ECONOMICS
Cannock Chase Council and Inspiring Healthy Lifestyles are working in partnership with The Great Imagining to deliver an exciting and innovative programme of work based on the climate change agenda.
As part of this initiative we‘ve joined forces with The Globe Group CIC to deliver an interactive workshop designed to imagine the sustainability potential of our organisations using Doughnut Economics as a framework. No prior knowledge of Doughnut Economics required.
WORKSHOP SCHEDULE:
- 6:00PM – Think Differently Tour of the exhibition hall
- 6:15PM – Introduction to Doughnut Economics
- 6:45PM – Map your business on the Doughnut
- 7:15PM – Unlocking future potential
- 7:45PM – Plenary reflections and wrap up
There will also be a Visual Minutes Artist to illustrate the main themes of the workshop which will be shared with participants after the event.
This event is being delivered as part of The Great Imagining Cannock Chase, a two-day event taking place across 8th & 9th March 2024. It is going to be a festival of ideas and inspiration involving all sections of the community, including schools, organisations, networks and businesses, as well as special guests. Everyone in Cannock Chase District and beyond is going to be invited to this creative extravaganza of participatory science, art, theatre, film, music, talks, symposiums and workshops. The event will be set out like a giant theatrical board game with tasks and challenges, magic and theatre.
To support this we are offering a programme of business leaders learning experiences, mentoring and creative arts which will inspire and empower organisations to engage with the event on some level. The March event will also offer business people work experience and volunteering opportunities in the communications, marketing, art direction, project management and delivery of the event.
